Akanksha Chamola confirms divorce from Gaurav Khanna after nearly 10 years of marriage

Mumbai: Television actress Akanksha Chamola has revealed that she and her actor husband, Gaurav Khanna, have decided to divorce each other after a decade of marriage.

Akanksha and Gaurav tied the knot in a Kanpur ceremony in November 2016 after dating for several months.

The actress shared the same during the premiere of Lock Upp season 2.

“Gaurav and I have been living separately for over a year, but we did not disclose this to any of you,” said Akanksha.

The actress denied that there were any negative issues or animosity in their divorce and that they remain friends.

“We just understood after the last 8-9 years of marriage that we cannot continue our journey together as we have different visions for our lives”.

“We don’t want to live a life just fulfilling our duties, and hence took a separate path for a happy future,” she added.

The statement surprised the fans as two months back, in January itself, the actress had rubbished reports of their marriage going through a rough patch.
