Veteran ghazal singer Talat Aziz’s Juhu home catches fire in Mumbai, wife rescued through bathroom window

Mumbai: Veteran ghazal singer Talat Aziz’s Juhu home catches fire in Mumbai on October 2 during the night time. at least five people are said to be affected in this incident and were taken to hospital and later discharged after checkup.
The information has come that the wife of the singer was on a upper floor whole the singer was downstairs when the fire broke out. The wife was rescued using a ladder as she was not able to come downstairs due to heavy smoke in the entire house.
Talat Aziz, his wife, their two sons and another person were taken to a nearby hospital after suffering from breathing problems caused by the smoke. All five were later discharged.

Following the incident, the singer said that the family will shift somewhere else as the house is not suitable for living at this moment. The house will be repaired.
The reason behind the fire to break out in the house of the ghazal singer is not known yet. The suspect is said to be an electrical short circuit.
