Noted Ollywood director SK Muralidharan found dead under mysterious circumstances

Bhubaneswar: Noted Ollywood director-cum-choreographer S.K Muralidharan was reportedly found dead under mysterious circumstances at a hotel in Bhubaneswar on Monday.

While the exact cause of the Odia film director’s death is yet to be known, police have seized the body and sent it for postmortem. They also have initiated an investigation into the matter.

Muralidharan stepped into the film industry as a choreographer in 1990 with the Odia film Paradeshi Chadhei and by now he has over 50 choreography credits across multiple Indian film industries.

Besides, began directing movies in 2008 with Chaati Chiri Dele Tu. He has directed a number of Odia hit films like Nei Jare Megho Mote, Akase Ki Ranga Lagila, To Akhire Mu, Nua Nua Premare and Mu Aashiq Mu Awara.

According to reports, Muralidharan also has written stories of a couple of films like Kie Daba Takkar (2015) and Sunayana (2022).

A pall of gloom descended upon the Ollywood industry following S.K Muralidharan’s untimely and mysterious death.
