FBI Director Kash Patel gets engaged to longtime girlfriend Alexis Wilkins

New-Delhi: FBI Director Kash Patel is engaged to his longtime partner, American country singer Alexis Wilkins, with the couple announcing their engagement on Sunday.

Wilkins (27) shared a black-and-white photograph with Patel (46) on social media handle X on Sunday evening. In the picture, she displayed her engagement ring while standing beside Patel. She captioned the post, “Went and got the law involved.” Patel later reposted her announcement.

The couple has been together since before Patel became FBI director in 2025. Wilkins was also present when Patel was sworn in as the agency’s director. Recent reports say the two first met at an event in Nashville in 2022 and began dating in 2023.

In November 2025, former FBI agent and conservative commentator Kyle Seraphin said that Patel had used an FBI aircraft to attend one of Wilkins’ performances at Penn State University.

The FBI defended Patel’s use of bureau aircraft, saying he is required to travel on FBI planes for security reasons, including during personal trips.

The bureau also said Patel reimburses the government in advance for non-official travel and that his personal use of the aircraft complies with policy.
