Legendary Singer, Asha Bhosle dies at 92

New-Delhi: Legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle has passed away at the age of 92. The news was confirmed by her son, Anand Bhosle.

The funeral will be held tomorrow, April 12, 2026, at 4 PM at Shivaji Park.

Bhosle had been admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital on Saturday evening.

Her death was confirmed by Dr Pratit Samdani of Breach Candy Hospital.

Bhosle was born on September 8, 1933, in Goar, Sangli, in Maharashtra, to Pandit Deenanath Mangeshkar and his wife, Shevanti. Pandit Deenanath a classical singer and actor, who passed away when Asha Bhosle was nine.
