Dhurandhar’s Aditya Dhar spy thriller enters top 5 highest grossing Indian films of all time

Mumbai: Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh earned Rs 13.50 crore on day 31, takings its total collection in India to Rs 820.30 crore. it earned an amount that many movies struggle to collect on their release day.
It’s has already become the first Indian film to score double digits at the domestic box office even in its fourth week. However, that momentum finally slowed down on Friday when the film dropped below Rs 10 crore.
However, Dhurandhar might not be the highest grossing Indian film but surely comes under top 5 highest grossing Indian films of all time. Allu Arjun’s Film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ has continued to hold records as the highest grossing indian film domestically.
Dhurandhar has entered the Rs 800 crore club in India, with earnings of Rs 806.80 crore becomes the first original hindi film to cross Rs 800 crore mark at the domestic box office.
At the worldwide box office, Dhurandhar has already entered the Rs 1,100 crore club, amassing over Rs 1,188 crore.

It will soon challenge KGF: Chapter 2 which stands at Rs 1,215 crore, meanwhile RRR, total earning from the box office was Rs 1230 which are the fourth and fifth highest Indian grossers worldwide so far.
Dhurandhar film still has miles to go before it comes close to the collection of Pushpa 2: The Rule (Rs 1742.10 crore), Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Rs 1788.06 crore), Dangal (Rs 2070.30 crore) directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
Dhurandhar spy-thriller features Ranveer Singh, Saras Arjun, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles.
The film is planned as a two-part franchise, with the sequel scheduled for release during Eid 2026. Given the unprecedented box office success of the first installment, expectations surrounding the sequel remain high among audiences.
