Diljit Dosanjh breaks silence after Satluj ott removal: ‘I’m With Punjab Till I Die’

Mumbai: The singer-actor took to Instagram Live after Satluj was removed from streaming in India to address fans and state that once the film reached the people, its message could no longer be removed.

“My film, Satluj, is still online”, said the singer and actor in his Instagram Live video.

“I’m with Punjab until I die. Once it’s on the internet, nothing can really be deleted”. “I’m quite sure there’s a way; they’ll find a way,” he added.

Satluj, based on the real-life story of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, was abruptly taken off ZEE5 India barely two days after its release in the digital space.

The movie had undergone numerous delays and name changes, apart from facing challenges due to censorship, before being released.
