Wicked City Season 2 and Tyler Perry's The Oval Are Back on TV This Week

In it, Perry was seen enjoying himself at Usher’s latest “Past, Present, Future” tour stop in Atlanta over the weekend. While that sounds innocent enough, the reason why Perry’s presence has now become the talk of the timelines is due to him throwing “Usherbucks” —a.k.a. Usher’s fake money—at a stripper who was dancing on stage. Not only did the “Why Did I Get Married” director and actor throw the money, he also took the time to whisper something in the dancer’s ear before trying to rush out of the venue. Thankfully before he dipped, Usher caught him and handed him some more “ushbucks” to keep.

Watch the hilarious moment below:

Given that Perry is mostly known for his religious and inspirational-centered films, it’s a bit of a shell shock to see him indulge in this way. But the most puzzling and funny thing for viewers who saw the clip ultimately came from the inquisition of what exactly he could have told the young woman shaking her booty onstage?

Did he say “hellurr” and pray for her?

Did he ask her if she knew a man named Jesus and tell her that twerking onstage for all to see wasn’t what God would want for her?

Did he tell her she would be perfect as an extra on “All the Queen’s Men?” Or maybe in season two of his forthcoming show “Beauty in Black?”

Or did he pull a “Madea” and give the woman some pointers from the character’s alleged past life as a stripper herself?

Whatever it was, the visual of seeing someone like Perry whisper in an exotic dancer’s ear had folks online laughing for days and coming up with theories of their own:

“Tyler Perry throwing money at the strippers at the Usher concert is something I never thought I’d ever see in my life,” wrote one user on X/Twitter.

“Tyler Perry was such a gentleman with the Usher bucks lmao, y’all said he was whispering in that dancer’s ear like the Ying Yang twins talmbout, ‘you don’t have to do this no more.’ I hate y’all so bad,” wrote another.

“Tyler Perry throwing 1s on a stripper at an Usher concert while sexy red is playing. This is really the world I have to exist in?,” another said.
