Over the weekend, Los Angeles TV station KABC reported that the abandoned Hollywood Hills mansion where Diddy filmed the music video for his 2007 track, “Last Night,” has been taken over by squatters and is covered with broken glass, garbage, and graffiti that reads, “Diddy was here.”

Residents who live near the mansion claim that the abandoned home has been a nuisance for some years now and is considered a “safety hazard” for the neighborhood.

More from KABC:

“Mary J. Blige used to live here,” said a neighbor who identified himself only as Jack. “We had some high-level business folks, so to speak. I think some influencers have lived here over the years. It’s a really cool house, about 8,000 square feet. It’s big.”

Karin Gideon said when there wasn’t a fence at the home, the home was broken into several times.

“They cut the fence. There were a lot of very questionable people. Some were crazy, some actually became threatening,” she said.

Los Angeles Police officers have been called to the home six times this month alone, which has resulted in one person being arrested on a warrant, according to KABC.

Although it’s currently abandoned, the property is currently owned by John Powers Middleton, the son of Philadelphia Phillies Owner John S. Middleton.

While it’s now become a popular place for squatters to draw graffiti, the home has been abandoned for years now. In October 2022, the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety declared the property a nuisance, ordering Middleton to build a fence around it, according to NBCLA.

He didn’t listen, resulting in the city building the fence for him.

According to New York Post, the four-story, six-bedroom is reportedly 9,700 square feet and is worth $6.53 million.
