Remember when digital cameras stored photos on floppy disks?

Marvel at which inventions actually survived contact with reality.
As so often happens with future tech, the flashy high-tech concepts mostly fizzled, while the cheap plastic camera everyone laughed at quietly conquered the market. No one anticipated our phones becoming our cameras.
