Teaser unveiled

The team of Ghor Ghad released the teaser of the movie at Shukra Auditorium on Friday. The movie is about the Lambani community in Karnataka. The movie is bankrolled by DSK Dhanush Naidu, who also plays the lead in the film. Shashikumar GK from Davanagere is helming this movie. It is his fourth movie as a director.

“My father used to work as a cab driver in Hosur. Later we established DSK Group and earned fame. I have been busy with social work. I thought of helping the director of this movie. So, I decided to bankroll it,’’ said Naidu.

Director Shashikumar said he is a singer and has sung for a music album on Puneeth Rajkumar last year.

“The movie is about the Lambani community and its traditions and customs. It will throw light on how the customs are being neglected after migration to big cities,’’ said Shashikumar.

The director said there are more than 45 lakh people of the Lambani tribe in Karnataka but they are not able to get what they deserve from the state government. “The movie will focus on how to preserve Lambani traditions,’’ the director said.
