Explore the vibrant and time-honoured weaves of Karnataka through a ‘Handloom Santhe’ as Ragi Kana invites you to a celebration of Karnataka’s handloom heritage, gathering artisans, performers, and admirers of traditional crafts. The event will feature 12 unique handloom fabric makers from across Karnataka, a ‘Theatre Music’ program by B Jayashri and her troupe, an exclusive exhibition of Karnataka sarees by Vrunda Shekhar, a prominent Ilkal Revivalist, Handloom Researcher, and Weaver Storyteller, a ‘Plant Exchange’ event, and more.

Join in for a curated storytelling morning ‘Weaving a story,’ an exploration of Bhujodi Sarees and textiles. Aparna Jaishankar, in collaboration with Priyanka Rajwar and Roli Mishra, will delve into stories of the symbolic significance of the colours and motifs, from the threads to the textured pallu. A curated collection of sarees from Vayaka India will be on display.
