After brief hiatus
by Y Maheswara Reddy · Bangalore MirrorRagini Prajwal, the better half of actor Prajwal Devaraj, is making a comeback in Sandalwood with Shanbogara Magalu (Daughter of Shanbogh) after a hiatus of more than three years. Ragini’s previous movie Inspector Vikram was released in February 2021.
“I play Sharavathi, the daughter of Shanbogh in the movie. I am acting after a gap of more than three years. I am basically a classical dancer. I have dubbed in my own voice for the movie. I did the emotional scenes without using glycerine. I have given it all my commitment and dedication,’’ said Ragini.
The movie’s trailer and title song were released at Renukamba Preview Theater on Sunday. Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce president NM Suresh and veteran character actor Ramesh Bhat released the trailer. Kodlu Ramakrishna has directed the movie based on a novel with the same title - Shanbogara Magalu- written by Bhagya Krishnamurthy.
The movie is bankrolled by CM Narayan under the Bhuvan Films banner. The movie has received a UA certificate from and is expected to arrive in theatres shortly. The movie was shot in Mysuru, Srirangapatna, Melukote, Channapatna, and in and around Chikkaballapur.
