Watch Kalavilasi Bengaluru Team’s “Kranthi Banthu #Kranthi,” a play that has been adapted to the present times from P Lankesh’s original “Kranthi Banthu Kranthi,” first published in 1971. It explores pressing issues such as the tyranny of capitalists, systemic interference, the opportunistic behaviour of influencers for personal gain, the outrage of disempowered youth, the flood of opinions on social media, and how the media capitalises on these dynamics. Woven with humour and satire, the play offers ample entertainment while provoking thought.
