KPDCL announces power shutdown

Srinagar, Jan 06: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) on Tuesday announced power shutdown in several parts of Kashmir division in forthcoming days.

In a communication shared by Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the Shutdown of 33 KV Wanpoh Ashajipora and Wanpoh Malaknag DC line will be observed due to which power supply to Ashajipora, Dialgam, Malaknag, Hazratbal, Brakpora, Doonipawa and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on 08 &10 January 2026.

Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Bemina-Fateh Kadal line and 33 KV Bemina-Barbarshah line will be observed due to which power supply to Mohalla, Nowpora, Bohrikadal, BB Shah, Bishembarnagar, Gousia Hospital, Naisarak, Barbarshah, Exchange, Basant Bagh, Car Parking Maisuma and adjoining areas will be affected from 10 AM to 03 PM on 08, 12 & 15 January 2026.
