KPDCL announces power shutdown

Srinagar, Feb 21: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) on Saturday announced power shutdown in south Kashmir areas on February 24 and 26.

In a communication, Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL said the shutdown of 33 KV Achabal Cherpora Tapline and 33 KV Harnag Khanabal Tapline will be observed due to which power supply to Shangus, Nowgam, Cherpora, 33/0.433 KV and 1.0 MVA DC Residence will be affected from 08 AM to 02 PM on 24 & 26 February 2026.
