Honda has released fresh teasers of the Elevate facelift, offering a closer look at its exterior and interior updates. The updated Elevate will launch on October 6, 2026, with India becoming its first market. Pre-launch bookings are open at authorised Honda dealerships for Rs 21,000.
New Front Design With Bonnet-Mounted Badge
The most prominent exterior change is the front lighting arrangement. Three horizontal illuminated segments sit between the slim LED daytime running lights, creating a signature that stretches across much of the SUV’s width. Below these elements, the grille receives a revised geometric pattern. Honda has also repositioned its logo onto the bonnet, leaving the central lighting section uninterrupted by the badge.
Connected LED Tail Lamps
The rear also receives a lighting update. Red illuminated strips extend across the tailgate towards the central Honda emblem, visually connecting the outer tail lamps. Parallel horizontal detailing gives the rear a wider appearance, complemented by dark surrounding trim. This indicates a more substantial rear styling change than earlier spy shots had suggested.
Revised Dashboard Trim And Ambient Lighting
Inside, the changes go beyond the addition of ambient lighting. The passenger-side dashboard section occupied by faux-wood trim in the current Elevate appears to receive light-coloured, stitched leatherette-style upholstery.
Matching detailing extends onto the door panels, suggesting wider use of soft-touch surfaces. While the basic dashboard arrangement remains familiar, the revised trim gives the cabin a more premium appearance. The exact materials will need to be confirmed at launch.
Orange ambient lighting runs beneath the passenger-side dashboard trim and along the doors. The lighter upholstery also provides a different look. These changes align with Honda’s promise of a more premium cabin experience and several customer-requested enhancements. Just like the new City, ventilated seats could also be on offer.
Digital Rear-View Mirror Possible
Honda also includes a dedicated shot of the interior rear-view mirror. It shows a wide, unobstructed view of the road, raising the possibility of a camera-based digital IRVM. However, the teaser does not establish whether this is a digital display or a conventional mirror presented through creative visualisation. Honda has not confirmed the feature.
Launch And Prices On October 6
The Elevate facelift is expected to continue with the 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine producing 121 PS and 145 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual or CVT. Other anticipated additions, including ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof and a factory-fitted 360-degree camera, remain unconfirmed by these teasers.
