GB News presenter Bev Turner paused her segment today to share an exciting update about colleague Olivia Utley. She proudly announced, "I want to start off by telling you this hour about some brilliant news, our very own political correspondent Olivia Utley has just posted this."

She went on to reveal the joyous message from Olivia: "She says: 'Introducing our wonderful little son, Wilfred George Dunnett-Stone (Wilfie), born yesterday morning weighing 7lb2oz. We are totally over the moon and very excited for our first Christmas as a family.'" Beaming with delight, Turner added, "Look at him, he is gorgeous! Wilfred George Dunnett-Stone, fantastic, huge congratulations from us here on Britain's Newsroom to Olivia and her hubby. Well done, amazing, and you get to put your feet up now for Christmas., which is a brilliant excuse to do so."

The good news prompted viewers to quickly express their well wishes on the channel's social media account.

One viewer commented, "Well done Olivia, little George must be so proud to have the best political reporter on GBNews as his mum."

Another shared their happiness, "Ahh, bless. Wonderful. Congratulations.", reports the Express.

A third viewer responded, "Awwww that's excellent news, congratulations Oliva and Co. Glad it all went well, Merry Christmas."

One viewer complimented, "My what a little honey" while another shared a sentiment of awe, saying, "Whatever time of year the birth of a child is astonishing."

Last week, Olivia announced her temporary departure from the programme, bidding farewell to co-hosts Stephen Dixon, Ellie Costello, and the home audience. On leaving, she revealed her due date was Christmas Day, prompting Ellie to express hope for an earlier arrival in what seemed like a prophetic comment: "I hope he or she is here before Christmas because it will be the best Christmas present."

Dawn Neesom also offered warm wishes, telling Olivia, "You are going to be a wonderful mum. We can't wait to find out all the news from you."

The show confirmed that Olivia would return to GB News come September.
