Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Gets A Day One Update, Here Are The Patch Notes

Nintendo has released a day one update for Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave ahead of its release on 17th September 2026.

The patch notes are a bit brief here, but the highlight is that Nintendo will be giving away a selection of weapons from the Fire Emblem series, which you can pick up as you progress through the story.

Here's a look at the patch notes:

Update Data Ver. 1.0.1

- We're giving away special weapons from the Fire Emblem series. You can receive them in places like Dagsion as you progress through the story.
- In addition, we have fixed several issues to improve the gameplay experience.

If you've yet to read it, do check out our review for Fortune's Weave. We awarded it an 8/10, stating that while there are some pacing issues, "the battles have never felt better, and there’s no knocking the sheer amount to do".

Curious to see what the special weapons are whenever I get access to them in game (or if I end up seeing them before elsewhere, definitely not the kind of spoiler I'd mind) - of course the bug fixing is welcome, too!

Feel like this is a staple at this point. Get to crack out your parallel falchions and Tyrfings without needing to explain this into the cannon.

Day 1 of waiting for that Maddening Patch!

Got this pre ordered for tomorrow. Hoping this can finally be the game to get me back in to gaming after a weird few months of cant be botheredness.
