Bayonetta 4 When? Stellar Blade Director Confesses His Love For The Umbra Witch

In what's arguably a match made in heaven, Stellar Blade recently announced a crossover with Bayonetta, where Eve will be getting outfits directly inspired by the famous Umbra Witch.

In a new Famitsu interview recently, Stellar Blade's director Kim Hyung-tae has now confessed his love for Bayonetta, stating it's one of his favourite series of all time, and claiming he wouldn't have been able to create Eve without it.

He also admitted to PlatinumGames' CEO Atsushi Inaba that he would love to be involved in the making of a new Bayonetta game, joking:

"If PlatinumGames would make a desk for me, I'd come every day".

This comment apparently led to a "stern look" from Shift Up's CBO, but Inaba believes his contributions could be an asset to the Bayonetta franchise.

Platinum is also impressed with the faithful representation of Bayonetta in the Stellar Blade collab, with Inaba further stating, "Kim's costume strikes a perfect balance between being truly Bayonetta and being Stellar Blade".

It's open to a cross-collaboration on its end as well, where it designs something, and both parties reportedly welcome the idea of exploring new initiatives together. So, who knows what else might happen in the future!

P* and Shift Up should combine powers and make it happen!

I don't want a fourth game because it won't feature Cereza, and she is Bayonetta. I don't care enough about Viola to want a game centered around her and find the way that the game forces any future installments to have her as the protagonist yet still ostensibly be the same Bayonetta series we all know and love to be incredibly frustrating.

@trymer89 If a fourth game happens, I can't see them committing to Viola after the backlash; unless it's a radical 'Raiden in MGS4' kinda change.
That said, I still don't want a fourth game after Bayo 3!

I mean as long as the designs are done by the original designer. I am fine with a new Bayo. I do like the punk rocker girl style, but I do foresee people not agreeing with her being the primary protagonist.

You could start with Viola on the way to rescue her parents, and shift different perspectives from there.

A new action game starring 2B (Nier Automata), KOS-MOS (Xenosaga), Bayonetta (Bayonetta), Eve (Stellar Blade), and Aya (Parasite Eve) would be fantastic.
