Secrets Of Armenia Brings Rare Armenian Classical Repertoire To Australia And New Zealand

Secrets of Armenia Foundation will bring its international concert project Secrets of Armenia to Australia and New Zealand in November 2026, with performances in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland.

Concert pianists Mikael Ayrapetyan and Yulia Ayrapetyan will present a program devoted to Armenian classical musical heritage, featuring works by more than ten Armenian composers and repertoire rarely heard on international concert stages.

The tour marks the project’s Australian premiere in Sydney and Melbourne, followed by its New Zealand premiere in Auckland.

Secrets of Armenia is an international music project founded and directed by pianist Mikael Ayrapetyan and dedicated to the discovery, preservation and international promotion of Armenian classical music through concerts, recordings and educational activity.

Mikael Ayrapetyan’s Armenian classical-music recordings have been released internationally on Grand Piano / Naxos and reviewed by publications including International Piano, Fanfare and American Record Guide.

International Piano wrote: “Mikael Ayrapetyan makes the best possible case for this music, enshrined in a fine recording.”
