Ralph Lauren stepped it up a notch at the U.S. Open this year, revealing a reimagined suite that hosted a wide range of VIPs during the tournament.

The suite drew its inspiration from The Polo Bar, blending classic architectural influences with a navy-and-white palette and artwork that celebrates the history of tennis. High-gloss white paneled walls, saddle leather banquettes, oak floors and hammered brass accents provided a sophisticated and refreshed experience.

At the center of the suite is a classic bar where well-dressed bartenders served up the Ridgway Margarita — a signature of The Polo Bar — in a Ralph Lauren Home Ashby Double-Old-Fashioned crystal glass with a crossed racket motif. Other cocktails included special U.S. Open-themed drinks including the Grand Slam Spritz and Ace Paloma.

Guests who opted not to sit in the outdoor plastic seats were also given the opportunity to dine at tables illuminated with Polo Bar votive candles or get cozy in other chairs from the brand’s home furnishings collection. A large-screen TV in the suite, however, ensured that they didn’t miss a single serve.

Over the Labor Day weekend, the suite played host to a group of Olympians including Katie Ledecky, Jack Hughes, Evan Bates and Madison Chock, and Maia and Alex Shibutani.

Ralph Lauren has long been the Official Outfitter and Sunglass Sponsor of the U.S. Open. At this edition, the brand dressed 800 people including 215 on-court officials and 300 ball crew members and created a commemorative collection of apparel and accessories for fans. It also opened a pop-up for the collection at Nordstrom’s New York City store that will be open through Sept. 20.
