Devin Booker Debuts a Legendary Graffiti Collab on His Signature Nike Shoe

Devin Booker and Nike still aren’t ready to debut his third signature sneaker, but the Phoenix Stars media day did provide the opportunity for the star man to reveal one of his biggest collaborations yet.

The Futura x Nike Book 2 gets a spray paint treatment not only on its canvas upper but also visible beneath its translucent outsole in the style of the legendary graffiti artist. A multicolor print on white repeats Futura’s signature atom motif, iconography that sparked a trademark dispute with The North Face four years ago. The artwork even carries over to the Swoosh, which is only loosely defined so as to let the graphic stand out, while “Book” appears in Futura’s handwritten script on the tongue tag, insole and outsole.

Booker has routinely used his first and second signature sneaker as a vehicle to pay tribute to historic sneakers, including makeups recreating the look of the Air Max 1 University Red, Air Foamposite One Eggplant, Don C’s Air Jordan 2 and many, many more. These sneakers and others from the Book line were documented in a compendium, “Devin Booker: In My Shoes: Hardwood to Concrete,” published by Rizzoli for a release earlier in September.

Futura now joins Hiroshi Fujiwara of Fragment as another influential collaborator to work with Booker. The long-active graffiti artist first linked with Nike in 2002 for a Blazer inspired by Boba Fett of “Star Wars” and has applied his trade to several more sneakers over the decades since, most frequently being SB Dunk Lows.

Most recent was an Air Force 1 Low made for Futura’s 70th birthday in 2025 with just 70 pairs, some of which went up for raffle in addition to distribution to friends and family.

Now release details have come yet for the Futura x Nike Book 2, and it is possible the shoe remains exclusive to Booker. Footwear News will keep you abreast of any updates.
