Rocha said while she is celebrating two decades in modeling, her focus has shifted beyond just gracing runways. She runs her own model camp, “Coco Rocha Model Camp,” where she trains and mentors aspiring models. While still actively modeling, she highlighted her recent collaboration with Moet & Chandon, expressing her preference for working with brands that share her values.
Rocha offered a critique of the current fast-paced, trend-chasing nature of the fashion industry, and reminisced about the days when designers had a “singular vision” and created thoughtful presentations. She emphasized the importance of “meaningful activations” and artistic expression over fleeting trends. Rocha also discussed the homogenization of fashion, lamenting the loss of individual creative visions from designers and photographers. She advocates for a return to bold, unique perspectives and encourages models to embrace their own individuality.
