HIGH UP: Moncler Grenoble will head to Switzerland’s Engadin Valley to stage its fall 2027 show.

It will be held on Feb. 6 next year as part of a weekend-long celebration of mountain life, but the precise location, while defined as “intimate,” remains undisclosed. The brand held its fall 2024 show in Saint Moritz — one of executive chairman Remo Ruffini’s favorite ski resorts but which can hardly be characterized as intimate.

The Engadin Valley is part of the eastern Swiss Alps in the canton of Graubünden with about 25,000 inhabitants and the highest mountains are in the Bernina Range. The Bernina Express is a famous red scenic train connecting Tirano in Italy to Saint Moritz along a UNESCO World Heritage Site route.

In 2022, Moncler rebooted Grenoble as the brand’s “high-performance” division, flanked by the fashion-forward Moncler Genius line and the lifestyle Moncler Collection.

It has been taken on the road since then as per Ruffini’s belief that itinerant shows help heighten the brand’s visibility. At the end of January this year, the fall 2026 collection was unveiled in Aspen, the first American ski destination show for the brand that drew a crowd of about 400 people — who included Kevin Costner, Tessa Thompson, Orlando Bloom, Aubrey Plaza, Maria Sharapova, Adrien Brody and more.

In March 2025, Moncler Grenoble traveled to Courchevel, the French Alps ski resort located in the Tarentaise Valley, and the show was staged amid a blizzard at the Courchevel Altiport, Europe’s highest airport at 6,588 feet.

Moncler Grenoble owes its name to the city that hosted the Olympic Games in 1968, when the brand was the French national ski team’s official supplier. The first Grenoble collection was presented in New York in January 2010 during the city’s fashion week.
