Niecy Nash popped in purple for the red carpet premiere of FX’s new series “Grotesquerie” in New York City on Monday. The Emmy-winning actress was accompanied by her wife, Jessica Betts, and they posed for photos on the red carpet.

For the occasion, Nash chose an outfit in royal purple, wearing a jumpsuit with wide-leg pants and a plunging neckline with draped fabric by Attic Koncept.

The long-sleeve jumpsuit also featured a veil element, framing the Emmy winner’s face. She accessorized the look with pieces of glittering and metallic silver jewelry.

Nash’s hair, styled by Theo Barrett, was coiffed with subtle curls. Her makeup, designed by Porsche Cooper, included a soft natural lip and bold eyes and brows. The entire look was curated by stylist Ashley Sean Thomas, who has also worked with Toni Braxton and Brandy.

Betts coordinated with her wife on the red carpet, styling a complementary ensemble. The singer and songwriter wore plum-hued trousers and a light purple button-down shirt over a black top.

The couple, married in 2020, have recently coordinated their red carpet looks. For the 2024 BET Awards on June 30, Nash wore a strapless electric blue gown, complemented by Betts’ snakeskin blue trench coat.

“Grotesquerie” is a new FX series from Ryan Murphy about a detective (Nash) and a nun who work together to solve a series of homicides, connecting a web of disturbing clues. The series also stars Oscar nominee Lesley Manville, Courtney B. Vance and Travis Kelce. “Grotesquerie” premieres Wednesday.
