Toga Spring 2026: Breathing in Summer Air

Preparing for next year’s impending heat, Toga’s spring collection continued Yasuko Furuta’s genre-blending style, fusing sophisticated collared tailoring with laid-back sheer layering.

Showing outdoors at Somerset House River Terrace turned the wind into part of the production that highlighted billowing tassel embellishments on sleeves and cuffs, blew through feathered bags, and ruffled short dresses that bounced.

Furuta played with pleated skirt overalls with open, airy fronts, worn with sheer, loose leggings that offered a little more coverage without sacrificing airflow. In a see-through, collared floral button-up tucked into micro shorts that had folded flaps bursting from the hips, you’d be sure to catch a breeze.

While you could see that the designer had fun showing skin, her more modest looks featured sleek, tailored pantsuits in eye-catching patterns, lightly covered with sheer silks. Dangling diamond accessories stood out against an all-black look, pairing an exaggerated V-neckline sweater with tasseled cuffed pants.
