TV favourite Davina McCall surprised fans with an unexpected appearance following her brain surgery.
The presenter, who had a benign tumour removed recently, delighted Ant and Dec during their Instagram Live on Saturday night. She sent a cheerful message to the Geordie duo saying "Hey everyone! Still here" accompanied by a laughing emoji.
Dec announced, "Hey Davina McCall is here everybody," as Ant conveyed his well-wishes: "Hope you are feeling well...sending you lots of love from the jungle."
Cheers of "We love you Davina" could be heard from the production team, but despite the warm reception, Davina hinted it was time for her to log off, commenting: "I'm gonna sign off now," reports the Mirror.
Ant humorously responded: "We were too much for her, we were too loud."
This comes after Davina's partner Michael Douglas shared last week that she was making a strong recovery post-operation.
At 57, the TV star had been in intensive care as a precaution after the surgery. On Tuesday, Michael expressed relief at her progress: "Mega progress these last 24 hours. Massive relief to see some light breaking through."
He thanked everyone for their positive energy: "Thanks for all the good vibes coming in from all angles, up and up. Thanks so much to all the wellwishes. She really has made an enormous leap forward in the last 24 hours. She is out of ICU."
Previously, the former Big Brother host disclosed that a rare colloid cyst was discovered during a routine health check-up related to her menopause advocacy efforts.
The mother of three revealed that the half-inch-wide tumour, a rarity affecting a mere three in every million individuals, necessitated urgent removal as "if it grows, it would be bad". With a scheduled hospital stay of nine days, she announced her partner Michael, 49, would provide updates on her condition.
Following the operation, Michael reported on Friday that the procedure went remarkably well and was considered textbook although admitting that Davina was "utterly exhausted". Davina is known for presenting the dating series 'My Mum, Your Dad', serving as a judge on 'The Masked Singer', and leading television programmes focused on the menopause.
According to NHS data, non-cancerous brain tumours are more frequently diagnosed in those over 50.
