Ella Morgan is looking more loved-up than ever with her new partner Alex James Ali, after the pair hit it off when meeting on Celebs Go Dating.
However the 29-year-old had a turbulent journey at finding love when she appeared on Married at First Sight UK. When discussing how open and vulnerable she was on Celebs Go Dating compared to MAFS, Ella said: "Everyone keeps saying this, and it's lovely to hear but surprising."
"On MAFS I did cry a lot," she expressed in an exclusive chat with the Daily Record. "I thought people saw that vulnerable side on the show but I think compared to Celebs you definitely see me cry all the time."
On her decision to go on Celebs Go Dating, Ella said: "I guess I went into it this time round with nothing to lose. Everyone knew my story that watched MAFS and the trans thing, I think that was the main conversation when I was filming MAFS."
Ella, who marked history as the first trans bride to appear on MAFS, admitted producers 'struggled' to find her perfect match as she openly discussed that her type was cis men.
She explained: "When I filmed with MAFS they said they struggled to find someone for me because people were just not open-minded to dating a trans person on TV.
"I think for me, doing MAFS, guys perceptions of dating a trans person is different now so that's a good thing I feel I have done as a representation."
When asked about advice she would give herself on self-love, Ella said: "I always get emotional talking about all of this. I don't know if its a trans thing but I talk about my old self in the third person.
"I talk about the old me like he was a different person to me physically although I obviously am the same person despite changing a lot. I think always just authentically and unapologetically be yourself because I've always believed in myself."

She added: "But I've not always been around people who have that same belief in me. Everything I put my mind to I always do it and make it work somehow, and that's because I've believed in myself."
Ella continued: "I don't really talk about it that often but when I do and even now I am thinking 'god who can say their dream from when they were younger has actually happened. I wanted to always be Ella and now I am, because I'm so used to being Ella I'm like 's*** I haven't always been like this and I almost forget.
"For me its just proven that anything is possible and so everything now in my life I know I can do and make it happen. Even though in my case it was pretty much life or death, I chose to go through the rough bits to be happy and where I am now."
"Stay true to yourself, wear your heart on your sleeve, be funny because you are and be amazing because you are amazing... and don't go for other people's men," she teased.

Elsewhere, on watching MAFS this series, Ella said she "absolutely loves" Emma, "She is an icon. I also know Sacha I didn't even know she was doing the show, I literally saw it on her Instagram and I was like 'what you kept that quiet!'"
She added: "I also know Lacey's twin sister who obviously walked up the aisle and got mistaken for the bride, that was quite iconic as well." Although she plans to watch along this series with Alex, Ella jokes "It won't be as good as my one."
