Jamie Dornan, the Northern Irish actor, has expressed his desire for a break after wrapping up filming for the anticipated drama 'The Undertow'.

The crime noir series, which is set to stream on Netflix, features Dornan in the challenging roles of identical twins Adam and Lee, with 'Station Eleven' star Mackenzie Davis playing the part of Adam's wife Nicola.

Based on the Nordisk Film Production AS television series 'Twin', the show is expected to premiere in 2025. Speaking to PA news agency, Dornan shared: "It will come out in 2025 and has been the longest job of my career, so I’m ready for a much-needed break! " At 42, Dornan has also stepped into a new role as Diet Coke’s latest ambassador, headlining their 'This Is My Taste' campaign.

He follows iconic figures like Kate Moss who have previously partnered with the brand. Dornan was drawn to the campaign because it "particularly resonates with me as I love the idea of celebrating everyone’s individualism".

He elaborated: "We are all our own people and it’s fun to lean into what makes you, you."

Known for his past modelling work with luxury brands such as Calvin Klein, Dior, and Giorgio Armani, Dornan now prioritises comfort in his personal style, especially given his active lifestyle and being a father to three energetic daughters. He admits: "90% of the time I’m wearing navy and white, so I’d say my style is very classic."

Jamie Dornan, renowned for his portrayal of Paul Spector in the thrilling BBC drama The Fall alongside Gillian Anderson, has also made a name for himself in the Leading Actor category with his role in the acclaimed series The Tourist. His silver-screen credits include the Fifty Shades Of Grey trilogy where he starred opposite Dakota Johnson and his performance in Sir Kenneth Branagh's celebrated Belfast film that secured him a Golden Globe nomination.
