‘Colony’ First Look – ‘Train to Busan’ Director Returns With Another Insane Zombie Horror Movie
by John Squires · Bloody DisgustingSouth Korean filmmaker Yeon Sang-ho (Train to Busan, “Parasyte: The Grey,” The Ugly) is back at it with the upcoming horror movie Colony, a brand new infection nightmare.
We’ve learned this morning that Yeon Sang-ho’s new horror movie Colony will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, and today also brings a first look at the twisted madness.
Colony will premiere as a Midnight Screening in Cannes for the fest’s 79th edition.
In Colony, “A biotech conference descends into chaos when a rapidly mutating virus transforms the infected, forcing authorities to seal off the facility with survivors trapped inside.”
Gianna Jun (Blood: The Last Vampire), Koo Kyo-hwan (Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula), Ji Chang-wook (“Healer”), and Shin Hyun-been (“Hospital Playlist”) star.
Wowpoint and Smilegate produce in association with Midnight Studio. Korea’s Showbox is handling international distribution. Stay tuned for release information as we learn it.
