Nothing Headphone (1) Pro unveiled with triple drivers, improved ANC, and premium build

After several teasers, Nothing has finally unveiled its flagship over-ear headphones, the Headphone (1) Pro. The new headphones offer triple drivers, improved ANC with a 10 mic setup, and a premium build that uses glass and titanium.

The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro features a 40mm dynamic driver for bass, another precision dynamic driver, and an xMEMS driver with a silicone diaphragm for treble.

The headphones offer Dynamic Spatial Audio with head tracking that offers several modes such as Standard, Live House, Club, Concert Hall, and a special mode that’s based on the Studio B by Metropolis Studios. They also come with Hi-Res Audio certification.

Nothing has also improved the active noise cancellation on the Headphone (1) Pro by using a total of 10 microphones. The headphones are claimed to offer up to a maximum of 46 dB of noise reduction.

Coming to the design, the Headphone (1) Pro looks similar to the original Headphone (1), but it gets a glass enclosure on the outside that is also scratch resistant.

The headphones use materials such as lightweight titanium and an aluminium frame.

The padding thickness has also been increased and the headband is now 10% wider than the Headphone (1). The cups are now more flexible and the cushions are also claimed to be softer than before.

The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro is IP52 rated and also comes with tactile switches. There’s also the Switch button that lets you toggle the Flat EQ. The headphones support AAC, SBC, LDAC, and LC3 codecs.

As for connectivity, the headphones support Bluetooth 6.1 with Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair. It also supports instant setup on Apple devices and offers dual connectivity. There’s also a low-latency mode and auto-wear detection.

Nothing claims that the 1,060mAh battery in the Headphone (1) Pro can deliver up to 30 hours of battery life with ANC on, and up to 68 hours with the feature disabled. The headphones also support fast charging via USB-C.

The headphones are available in Black and White color options and weigh 327g. You also get a padded carrying case with the Nothing Headphone (1) Pro.
