The award is presented to honor an individual’s lifetime of entrepreneurial achievement. It is a celebration of global business success bestowed upon a business leader who embodies and exemplifies the ideals of free enterprise championed by Malcolm S. Forbes in his lifetime and within the pages of Forbes magazine since its founding in 1917.

Steve Forbes, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, Forbes Media said: “Over the past four decades, Bernard Arnault has built the world’s largest luxury goods conglomerate, encompassing over 75 brands and spanning sectors including fashion, beauty and wines. He is a pioneer whose strategic vision and acumen –as demonstrated by the various acquisitions of prestigious brands – have not only propelled LVMH to great business success but have also redefined the luxury industry on a global scale. He is indeed one of the world’s most transformative entrepreneurs.”

Bernard Arnault, Chairman and CEO, LVMH Group said: “I am deeply grateful to Steve and Christopher Forbes for this unparalleled honor. It is a wonderful acknowledgement of the decades-long pursuit of creativity, innovation, and the entrepreneurial spirit that fuels our passion for product quality and desirability across the LVMH Group. I am humbled to receive the Malcolm S.
