Jelly Roll Brings Several Of His Hits Back To The Hot 100
by Hugh McIntyre · ForbesJelly Roll’s new album Beautifully Broken is still performing well on the Billboard charts, even as consumption of the recently-released project dwindles. His winning streak on the Hot 100, the company’s main ranking of the most-consumed songs in the U.S., also continues, and he even manages to bring several popular tunes back to the tally.
This week, Jelly fills three spaces on the Hot 100. Two of those songs return to the competitive list, while the third, which just happens to be the most popular at the moment, rises once again.
Between his pair of comebacks, Jelly’s “Liar” is the top performer. The second official single from Beautifully Broken reappears on the Hot 100 at No. 89 this frame. The tune has now lived on the ranking for half a dozen nonconsecutive weeks, and it’s climbed as high as No. 74.
Just a few spaces further down comes his second returning favorite. “Lonely Road” makes its way back to the Hot 100 and settles at No. 97, narrowly finding space on the tally once more. That cut, which is fronted by MGK—formerly known as Machine Gun Kelly—has risen much higher, even breaking into the top 40 as it peaked at No. 33. After 14 weeks on the list, it’s still popular enough among Americans to chart.
Jelly’s biggest hit in the U.S. this week is still “I Am Not Okay,” which serves as the lead single from the Grammy nominee’s latest full-length. The tune was released back in June, but it’s still hovering near its all-time high point of No. 14 on the Hot 100. This week, it climbs from No. 21 to No. 18 in its twenty-first turn on the roster.

All three of those singles can be found on a number of other Billboard charts as well. They’re all present on at least eight lists, and “I Am Not Okay” is so popular with both pop and country fans, that it’s taking up space on 11 different tallies.
Six other Jelly tunes are charting as well, and they all achieve varied levels of success. Some, such as “All My Life” with Falling In Reverse, manage to place on five charts, as the hard rock cut crosses over to pop radio. Other cuts, like “Chevrolet” with Dustin Lynch, “Losers,” and “Winning Streak,” are only present on one roster apiece.
