Last month, we learned what the focus would be for Philomena Cunk's (Diane Morgan) next pioneering documentary. After answering the questions that "Life," "Earth," "Shakespeare," and "Britain" had to offer, Cunk will turn her attention to our love affair with the movies. Set to hit BBC Two and BBC iPlayer on November 12th, and Netflix on November 15th, Morgan and Charlie Brooker's (Black Mirror) Cunk on Cinema will cover everything from the invention of the camera to the New Wave filmmakers of the 60s, right up to the advent of CGI and what the future of AI holds. Along the way, Cunk will attempt to demystify it all while sitting in lumpy seats with stale popcorn, asking herself: Where did cinema come from? And why? What does it want? And why can't it tell us? We've got the official trailer waiting for you below, along with a rundown of the famous names you can expect to see help (and hinder) Cunk's journey.
