Masters of the Universe: Tickets Go On Sale, 5 New Posters Released

Tickets for Masters of the Universe have officially gone on sale, and five new posters have been released ahead of the June 5, 2026, theatrical release.

The first couple of releases from Amazon MGM Studios this year had a rough time connecting with audiences and critics. It seems they were just off to a slow start, or they purposely put things they thought wouldn't do well at the beginning of the year, hoping the momentum would pick up. It seems to be because Project Hail Mary was massive, and while the early numbers for The Sheep Detectives are a big soft, good word of mouth could really elevate that one over the next couple of weeks. No one should be surprised if that one becomes a slow burn. Then we have Masters of the Universe. 

Studios have been attempting to make this property work on the big screen again, and this one might be the one. It walks that line between being faithful to the source material and looking a little dumb, but it also looks like a lot of fun. The cast appears to also be walking that line of not taking this too seriously, but also not being overly dismissive or thinking they are above it, similar to The Sheep Detectives. This one has a bigger budget; they are going to have to make back the high end, which is $200 million. Now that tickets are officially on sale, we'll start getting a more accurate early box office number. We also got five new posters from the usual suspects like ScreenX, Dolby, and more.

Masters of the Universe: Summary, Cast List, Release Date

In Masters of the Universe, Director Travis Knight brings the legendary franchise back to the big screen in this epic live-action adventure. After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine) back to Eternia where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor (Jared Leto). To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba), and embrace his true destiny as He-Man — the most powerful man in the universe.
