Tom Holland Says Sadie Sink Steals the Final Act of SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY

by · GeekTyrant

Marvel and Sony have done an impressive job keepingSadie Sink's role inSpider-Man: Brand New Dayunder lock and key, but thanks to Tom Holland, we finally have one very intriguing clue about what fans can expect when the movie hits theaters.

While nobody outside the production is saying who Sink is actually playing, Holland has revealed that whatever her role is, she becomes a major force in the film's final act. That's a pretty exciting tease considering how much mystery has surrounded her MCU debut.

During an interview with Collider's Perri Nemiroff, Holland talked about two moments in Spider-Man: Brand New Day that he believes audiences are going to love. One of those moments centers on Sink, and he couldn't say enough good things about what she brings to the movie.

He said: “There’s two moments. There’s one with Sadie Sink, who’s making her MCU debut. She handled the pressure of the character that she’s playing with such grace, and the third act, she steals the movie. It is so good.”

That's a pretty huge compliment coming from the actor leading the film. If Holland's excitement is any indication, Sink isn't simply making a memorable MCU introduction. It sounds like she's going to play a key part in how the story comes together.

Holland also highlighted another sequence that means a lot to him, this time involving his co-star and real-life partner, Zendaya.

He stopped short of revealing any story details, but he made it clear that the scene ranks among the best work he's ever done.

He shared: “And there is a scene with Zendaya, which is 10 toes down, probably the best scene that I’ve ever been a part of. It, she is like incredible in it. Both of them are like huge spoilers, but it is, it’s so good.”

Despite the movie being only weeks away from release, Sink has barely appeared in the marketing, and there's still no official confirmation about who she's plays. That silence isn't an accident.

Producer Amy Pascal recently explained that the team is taking the same approach they used to keep the appearances of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire a surprise ahead of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

If that's the strategy, fans shouldn't expect Marvel to spoil anything before opening weekend. For now, the mystery surrounding Sink's character continues, but Holland's comments have made one thing clear.

When the action reaches the final act of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, she's going to have fans on the edge of their seats.

We'll finally find out exactly what Holland is teasing when Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into theaters on July 31.
