NECA Unleashes THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE Santa Leatherface Action Figure

If you thought you'd seen every version of Leatherface there is to see, NECA has found a way to surprise horror collectors yet again. The toy company has released plenty of incredible Leatherface figures over the years, but this latest one might be the weirdest, funniest, and most wonderfully twisted of the bunch.

Instead of pulling inspiration from one of the The Texas Chain Saw Massacre movies, NECA has cooked up an entirely original concept with the Ultimate Santa Leatherface action figure. It's exactly what it sounds like, and it's every bit as gloriously ridiculous as you'd hope.

The holiday themed collectible imagines Leatherface embracing the Christmas spirit in the only way he knows how. He's decked out in a bright red Santa suit, complete with a festive tie and Santa hat, while still carrying all the horrifying charm fans expect from the iconic slasher.

NECA previews: “NECA is serving up a mix of holiday horror with Ultimate Santa Leatherface. Dressed in a red suit with a festive tie and Santa hat, Leatherface is getting into the yuletide spirit and slaying all the way. He’s even made a full turkey dinner with delicious sides!”

Of course, it wouldn't be an Ultimate release without an absurd amount of accessories. This 7-inch scale, fully articulated figure comes packed with everything collectors could want for a Christmas dinner hosted by Leatherface.

As NECA explains: “This 7-inch scale, fully articulated figure comes with a slew of seasonal accessories including a chainsaw, hammer, cleaver, knife, turkey, platter, intestines, meat spread, bracelet, stocking, Santa hat and apron, interchangeable hands, and interchangeable Mr. and Mrs. Claus heads.”

The interchangeable pieces let collectors display the figure in three completely different ways. You can pose Leatherface wearing his Santa outfit, swap on Santa's face for an even creepier display, or fully embrace the holiday madness by transforming him into Mrs. Claus.

It's such an unexpected concept that it almost feels like something pulled straight out of an alternate horror universe. It isn't tied to any movie, comic, or game, but that's part of what makes it so much fun. NECA simply took one of horror's most recognizable killers and asked, "What if Christmas at the Sawyer house was a thing?"
