AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY CinemaCon Trailer Broght To Life in Fan-Made Stop-Motion LEGO Video

If you’ve been anxiously waiting to see footage from Avengers: Doomsday, you know that the trailer that debuted at CinemaCon has been the talk of the internet, even though Marvel hasn’t officially released it.

Security at the event was tight, and unlike past showcases, nothing substantial has leaked online. But fans, being fans, found a creative workaround… and it involves LEGO.

While we might not get the real trailer anytime soon, someone has gone ahead and recreated key moments from the Doomsday footage using LEGO, and it’s honestly a pretty entertaining substitute.

The trailer that screened had been broken down in detail across forums and social media. Having seen it myself, I can tell you, it’s packed with major moments and big character interactions. And surprisingly, this LEGO version manages to capture a handful of the most talked-about scenes.

We get Thor delivering a rallying speech to the assembled heroes, setting the tone for what sounds like a massive conflict. There’s also a clash between Gambit and Shang-Chi, which is the kind of matchup fans didn’t know they needed until now.

Things get even more interesting with Mystique shapeshifting into Yelena Belova, hinting at deception and espionage playing a role in the story. Then there’s the moment that’s probably going to stick with people the most, Doctor Doom casually stopping Thor’s attack mid-swing, catching Stormbreaker like it’s nothing.

The short video doesn't cover everything that was shown in the CinemaCon teaser, but we do get the main talking points.

As for when we’ll actually get an official look at the real trailer, that’s still up in the air. Until then, this LEGO recreation is the closest thing we’ve got, and honestly, it’s a pretty fun way to experience the hype.
