Trailer For Anne Hathaway's VERITY Unleashes a Twisted Psychological Thriller From Colleen Hoover

The first trailer has been released for the film Verity, from bestselling novelist Colleen Hoover, who previously brought us It Ends With Us, Reminders of Him and Regretting You, which were all hits at the box office.

The film stars Dakota Johnson as Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling novelist who gets hired to finish the latest book from best-selling author Verity Crawford, played by Anne Hathaway, after an accident leaves her unable to complete it.

As Lowen works to complete the project, she discovers a disturbing unfinished manuscript that raises questions about Verity’s mental stability.

The film also features Josh Hartnett, Brady Wagner, Asel Swango and Daniel Echevarria. The film is directed by Michael Showalter (The Big Sick, The Eyes of Tammy Faye, The Idea of You), from a script adapted by Nick Antosca (The Act, A Friend of the Family).
