Jude Law in Talks to Join Scarlett Johansson in Ari Aster's A24 Thriller SCAPEGOAT

Oscar nominee Jude Law (The Talented Mr. Ripley, The Holiday) is currently in talks to join Oscar nominee Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow, Jurassic World: Rebirth) in writer/director Ari Aster’s (Midsommar, Hereditary) A24 thriller Scapegoat.

Aster is directing the picfrom a script he penned. Oscar nominee Jacob Elordi (Saltburn, Euphoria) also recently joined the cast.

While the plot is being kept under wraps, some have speculated that it’s about a doctor who operates on an internet-famous person. Others say it’s sci-fi romance, and some have said it’s more of a traditional drama for Aster. As of now, there is no consensus on the movie’s details, according to insiders.

Law has had a busy year, including the Star Wars series The Skeleton Crew and the Emmy-nominated Netflix limited series Black Rabbit. He also recently played Vladmir Putin in The Wizard of the Kremlin.

Next up, he can be seen in the Apple limited series Wild Things where he plays Vegas performer Siegfried opposite Andrew Garfield. He also recently wrapped production on the new movie from Nancy Meyers.
