One fan theory points to Doom’s own universe. A previous rumor suggested that the villain originates from Earth-828, the world connected to the MCU’s Fantastic Four.

On the surface it would make sense for Doom to preserve his home timeline while erasing the rest. However, other rumors hint that something traumatic happened in that universe, which may complicate that idea.

Another possibility is that if only one universe survives the destruction of the multiverse, it could be the Fox X-Men timeline.
