Incredible "Fantastic Voyage" Featurette For THE ODYSSEY Dives Into The Making of The Film

A new featurette has been released for The Odysseythat dives into the making of the film and the incredible locations they traveled to that serve as its backdrop.

The video features many of the cast and crew who comment on the unique shoot, including Matt Damon, who plays Odysseus in the film, who said this is the biggest and most extensive film he’s ever made.

Robert Pattinson, who plays Antinous, talked about how typical on-location shoots are equipped with a base camp a mere 10 feet from the cameras, and in this movie, you may have to hike 45 minutes in sandals to reach your location.

The Odyssey follows Odysseus, the legendary Greek king of Ithaca, on his perilous journey home after the Trojan War. Depicting encounters with mythical beings such as the Cyclops Polyphemus, the Sirens, and the witch-goddess Circe, culminating in his long-awaited reunion with his wife, Penelope.

The film, directed by Christopher Nolan, stars Matt Damon as the hero Odysseus, with Tom Holland as Telemachus, Anne Hathaway as Penelope, Charlize Theron as Circe, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong'o, Robert Pattinson, Jon Bernthal, Benny Safdie, John Leguizamo, Elliot Page, Himesh Patel, Bill Irwin, Samantha Morton, Jesse Garcia, Will Yun Lee, Rafi Gavron, Mia Goth, Cosmo Jarvis, and Corey Hawkins.
