New Report Reveals Aaron Paul's Role in CLAYFACE + Status of Post-Credits Scene Confirmed
by Jessica Fisher · GeekTyrantA few days ago, we received the news that early test-screenings had taken place for Clayface, and so far these first audiences have responded very positively to what is shaping up to be DC Studios' first true horror film. It was also revealed that Aaron Paul is in the film, but no one had spilled the beans about which character he plays.
According to MTTSH, Aaron Paul will play Matt Hagen's father in a "meaningless" cameo. This seems strange for an actor of his level of fame, but maybe he just wanted to be a part of the project.
The scooper also reveals that the movie will not include any post-credits scenes, and he said it "feels very standalone. [It's] funnier than expected. Very R-rated, very gory, has nudity too."
We still have four months before we get to see the film, so for now, these little bits of information will get us through. Clayface stars Tom Rhys Harries, Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, Max Minghella, Eddie Marsan, Nancy Carroll, and Joshua James.
The film is directed by James Watkins from a screenplay written by Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini, based on a story by Flanagan and characters from DC.
Clayface hits theaters on October 23, 2026.
