Saoirse Ronan Wants to Play a Bond Villain and Make More Blockbuster Films

Saoirse Ronan (Lady Bird, Little Women, Brooklyn) is a great actress who has appeared in a lot of smaller film projects. But, she has aspirations to do something bigger and wants to make more blockbuster films.

One of the things she would be very interested in doing is playing the villain in a James Bond movie. She told LA Times: "I would like to do something big and shiny. I’d love to do that."

Ronan would make a great Bond villain! That’s something I would actually like to see. It makes sense that Ronan would want to make bigger films because they are fun to be a part of and there’s more money to be made.

Ronan previously talked about wanting to make blockbusters, especially after missing out on a role in The Hobbit. She said:

"That’s why I don’t think you can put someone in one category, and even with me choosing very well-respected, drama-fueled, thought-provoking pieces for the most part – I love doing that. But I’m also like, 'I’ve done a lot of that. I think I want to do a big movie now.' And hopefully I’ll get to do that."

Hopefully, a big film project will give her that opportunity one day. Her next film is the World War II drama Blitz.
