Netflix Renews HAUNTED HOTEL for Season 3, Bringing More Supernatural Chaos in 2027

Netflix is keeping the doors open at the Undervale! The streaming service has officially renewed its adult animated comedy Haunted Hotel for Season 3, with more ghostly madness and supernatural trouble coming in 2027.

The announcement arrived just in time for Halloween, giving fans another reason to celebrate the return of one of Netflix's entertaining animated horror comedies.

The renewal follows a strong showing for the series. Season 2 landed on Netflix's Global English TV Top 10 list, while the first season has pulled in more than 15 million views since its debut. Clearly, audiences are enjoying their stays at this haunted establishment.

Created by Matt Roller, who previously worked on Rick and Morty, the series follows a single mother attempting to keep the world's most haunted hotel running while dealing with a truly insane collection of residents.

She's joined by her ghost brother, her two kids, and a demon trapped inside the body of a little boy. Throw in an ever-growing population of ghosts, monsters, and other supernatural disasters, and it's a miracle the place is still standing.

The voice cast includes Will Forte, Eliza Coupe, Skyler Gisondo, Natalie Palamides, and Jimmi Simpson. Roller is thrilled to continue the madness, teasing that Season 3 will take the show's wild mix of comedy, horror, and emotion even further.

“I’m so excited to invite viewers back to the Undervale!, said Roller. “Season three is full of the biggest, funniest, scariest, saddest, and Abaddoniest stories we’ve ever told, and I can’t wait for everyone to see them. Candles!”

Roller also serves as executive producer alongside Chris McKenna, Rick and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon, and Steve Levy. Erica Hayes, another Rick and Morty veteran, returns as supervising director.

Animation studio Titmouse is handling production, with Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina also serving as executive producers.

With its strange characters, twisted humor, and endless supply of paranormal disasters, Haunted Hotel has plenty of opportunities to get even crazier in its third season.

Netflix hasn't announced an exact premiere date, but Haunted Hotel Season 3 is officially headed our way in 2027. It'll be fun to see what fresh nightmares the Undervale crew has to deal with next.
