Beautifully Action Packed Trailer for Epic Adaptation of RAMAYANA

I would like to start the day with some course correction on our part. Up until yesterday, we here at GeekTyrant had no idea that a film adaptation of the historical story of Ramayana was in the works.

Thank you to the fans that have opened our eyes to what appears to be a vehicle to bring the epic Sanskrit poem by Valkimi to the world.

Frankly, I am here for it. Not only because of the fan reaction we are getting, but from the trailer that was released last year. Check it out and get a few details about the project below:

The ancient epic follows young prince Rama and princess Sita whose marriage and subsequent exile mark the beginning of a legendary journey. Their story of love, duty and destiny sets the stage for greater challenges ahead.

The two part story is being directed by Nitesh Tiwari and stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallalvi as the prince and princess. The films are set to be released on the Hindi holiday Dawali November 2026 and 2027.

I am pretty stoked to watch these movies. India puts out great films, and this is no exception to that rule. Let us know if you’re looking forward to seeing this epic story told on the big screen.
