Great Trailer for Hulu Documentary TRAVIS BARKER: LOUDER THAN FEAR Following the Drummer's Life, Career and Survival

Hulu has released a full trailer for the documentary Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear, which follows the Blink-182 drummer through his young life and music career, as well as the plane crash that almost claimed his life, and how it changed his outlook since surviving.

The doc is co-directed by Justin Krook (Echoboom, I'll Sleep When I'm Dead, A Fire Inside) and Michael Dwyer (Hostile Border) in their first project together.

The synopsis reads: “After surviving a terrifying plane crash that nearly took his life, the legendary & electrifying drummer Travis Barker embarks on a raw & redemptive journey. Once a trash collector in Laguna Beach, his life changed when he began as a replacement for Blink-182's drummer — igniting a meteoric rise that would make him the driving pulse of a generation.

“Yet beneath the spectacle of fame, the film reveals a complex man battling pain, grief and the thin line between survival and surrender. Featuring appearances from collaborators, cultural icons and those closest to him. The story of the man behind the tattoos. A tribute to those who keep going when the music almost stops.”

As a decades-long fan of The Aquabats, Blink-182, Box Car Racer, and Transplants, I have been following Travis Barker for a long time. This looks like a great rundown of his life and his outlook since surviving the 2008 plane crash.
