Coronation Street's Beverley Callard has reached out to her fans in alarm after witnessing unsettling footage from her Ring camera.

Taking to Instagram, the star shared a clip captivated by the sight of what she believes are two mysterious orbs floating in her barn, reports the Mirror.

Beverley posted the spine-tingling video with the words: "HELP!! What the hell is this? My Ring camera in the barn alerted us at 1am this morning.

"What are the two orbs? @jonmmac55 armed with a baseball bat went to investigate!! Nothing there, upon returning checked the camera and they were back. OMG! I'm scared. Any help greatly appreciated."

Her followers came through with a myriad of suggestions, ranging from sealing off the spooky site to attributing the phenomenon to active spirits with one insightfully commenting: "There are 4 orbs, 2 on the left, very active unsettled spirits."

Meanwhile, a more down-to-earth explanation was offered: "It's spiders on their web." But Beverley, best known for playing Liz McDonald, wasn't buying the eight-legged theory, as shown in her decisive follow-up post.

In a secondary video titled "No spiders web, I'm moving", the actress showcased her husband Jon McEwan conducting a thorough check of the area, once again ensuring no creepies were present, as detailed by OK!

He explained: "Just to clear it up since Beverly wouldn't come in today. All of you saying cobwebs and spiders, nope nothing. So, no, I think it could be a ghost!"

One fan suggested: "You can't leave Norfolk, we live here it's a beautiful place. Send the dogs in next time," while another quipped: "Time to get the investigators in, just in time for Halloween."
