Plymouth dance studio brings free taster days to all ages

by · PlymouthLive

Rhythm City Dance Studio is inviting Plymouth people to complimentary taster days. The exciting event kicks off this weekend, October 26, with three workshops for different ages.

The taster sessions, which will also run on November 30, will give those from aged four to adults, an opportunity to experience numerous styles such as choreography and street dance with their professional dance teachers and students.

Established in 2006, Rhythm City studio, currently situated in the Oxford House Creative hub, has been committed to fostering positivity and growth among young people across Plymouth and Devon.

They take immense pride in all facets of the dance community, aiding and inspiring young dancers to realise their dreams. This summer, six of their students successfully secured a place at Manchester's Shockout College to further develop their creative talents.

Additionally, one dancer represented the Southwest in Liverpool for Udance. In addition to their dedicated weekly sessions for beginners to intermediate levels, Rhythm City also boasts its very own RC Company Cohort.

This group consists of talented dancers who have participated in numerous events, including performances in London at the Project Pac showcase and the award-winning Breaking Convention that represents hip-hop worldwide.

Over the summer holidays, they organised a summer intensive weekend. Several choreographers convened in one space to conduct fantastic workshops over two days for their dancers.

A spokesperson said: "Their weekly scheduled public classes also include regular social Sunday sessions which are free of charge and for all to attend whether it’s to dance or simply socialise.

"Rhythm City Dance Studio keeps the dance community thriving with its upbeat classes, professionalism and positivity and is giving you the chance to see their work first-hand with the free taster days."
